چکیده
Humic substances (HS) are the most important natural biostimulant of plants. However, relationship between their structure and biological activity in plants is still not well recognized. The objective this paper was to assess influence molecular fractions humic acids (HA) (HA < 30 kDa HA > kDa) on reducing negative effects drought stress soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) seedlings Progres Nawiko cultivars. Drought induced laboratory conditions by addition polyethylene glycol 6000 (PEG 6000) make a water potential ?0.5 MPa. were extracted according International Substances Society procedure, then separated into two membrane filtration. following physiological biometric parameters determined: chlorophyll content, photosynthesis activity, electrical conductivity, fresh dry mass overground roots, plant length. enzyme ion contents also measured. Differences response with or Hoagland’s solution observed among studied caused decrease increase peroxidase case both results measurements showed that cultivar appears have better tolerance stress. significant deficit macroelement content matter leaves cultivars observed, while its effect microelement uptake concluded. In cultivar, leaves, whereas there increase. KDa features varied. fraction up-regulated antioxidant defense system. Unfortunately, no either macro- micronutrients system observed.

Effect of silicon application on wheat seedlings growth under water-deficit stress induced by polyethylene glycol
Silicon is known to ameliorate the deleterious effects of drought on plant growth. We evaluated growth of wheat (Triticum aestivum L. CV. Chamran) under Water-Deficit Stress Induced by Polyethylene Glycol as affected by Si application. In this article, the effects of Si (as potassium silicate) on some parameters related to growth, chlorophyll concentration relative water content (RWC), electrol...
متن کاملEffect of Polyethylene Glycol Induced Drought Stress on Physio-hormonal Attributes of Soybean
Drought stress is a major abiotic constraint limiting crop production world wide. In current study, we investigated the adverse effects of drought stress on growth, yield and endogenous phytohormones of soybean. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) solutions of elevated strength (8% & 16%) were used for drought stress induction. Drought stress period span for two weeks each at pre and post flowering growt...
متن کاملThe Effect of Humic Acid on the Growth and Physiological Indices of Pistachio Seedling (Pistacia vera) under Drought Stress
This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of soil application of humic acid on growth and physiological indices of pistachio seedlings ("Badami Zarand" rootstock) under drought stress. This experiment was arranged as a completely randomized design with three replications in greenhouse conditions. The experimental treatments consisted of humic acid (0, 30 and 60 gr in 4 kg-1 s...

متن کاملResponse of Tunisian autochthonous pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. Br.) to drought stress induced by polyethylene glycol (PEG) 6000
Seeds of pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum (L) R. Br.) from six provenances of Tunisia were subjected to germination and shoot and root length tests on filter paper treated with polyethylene glycol 6000 (PEG 6000) solutions made up to provide osmotic potentials of 0, -1 and -2 MPa. Mean germination percent for all provenances decreased about 73% in -2 MPa compared to control (0 MPa) treatment. O...
